Kids Clay Class (Tuesdays JUNE)
Kids Clay Class is designed for ages 6 - 10 to spark big imagination using tiny hands. Working along side our trained and experienced instructor, students will see each clay project will be demonstrated with encouragement and thoughtful guidance as age appropriate techniques and fundamentals of materials and tools will be shared. Children are encouraged to freely explore their imagination and creativity by shaping their own unique designs. Focus will be on artistic endeavor, joyful atmosphere of excitement and curiosity as each art work comes to life. This hands-on experience allows them to develop essential fine motor skills, artistic expression and screen free social interaction as they pinch, pull, and skillfully mold the clay into their envisioned forms.
Once our sculptures are completed, dried and fired in our kilns, students then will paint them with vibrant colored glazes, adding personal touches that reflect their unique individual styles.
At the end of the enriching session, the eager students exhibit their wonderful work in our new online gallery, sharing their creations with friends and family members. This fulfilling experience not only fosters artistic expression among young minds but also instills a profound sense of accomplishment and teamwork among the budding artists.
PLEASE NOTE: This course offers no additional open studio time outside of scheduled class time. Parents/Guardians/Family members are welcome to stay while class is in session but only enrolled students are able to participate. No make up days, substitutions, refunds or credit due to missed classes
