Join us at Alley Cat Studios with our new Children’s Studio
The Humming Bird’s Nest is a unique place for children to build on creativity in small groups in a low sensory environment, with a variety of materials, from light tables to sewing machines, along with all the basics, paint, clay canvas, and yarn.
The teacher’s goal is to present materials and guidance that enable children to create structurally sound artwork. Instruction should move students through a clear sequence: idea generation, planning and layout, construction, and final presentation.
